Police name man in court as 330 cannabis plants found at North Staffordshire grow

Police seized 330 cannabis plants from a property on a residential North Staffordshire road. Now defendant Le Hai has appeared in court over the Wood Lane operation.

It comes as officers had seized the plants from a property on Turner Avenue on Friday (August 7). Subsequently Hai, aged 41, of no fixed address, was charged with cultivating cannabis a class B controlled drug and abstracting / using without authority electricity.

He had been remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Monday. Staffordshire Police say following that session Hai has been further remanded before an appearance at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on September 7.
