Hi, I'm Ivan (enomado)

Rust engineer. I build things that touch real hardware and real physics: motion control firmware, measurement rigs, geometry and numerics, and the desktop UIs that drive them.

Most of what's here follows the same pattern — a no_std firmware crate for the MCU, plus host-testable crates holding the math, so the hard parts can be tested without a scope on the bench.

In a past life I was a web developer — backend and frontend. It's all unrelated experience; it just explains the older repos here.

Motion control & firmware
lathe Electronic leadscrew for a manual metal lathe — STM32F411CE / RTIC firmware, plus host-testable motion-profile and gear-geometry crates. Threading, feeds, gear hobbing.
windings Turns counter for a coil winding machine. STM32F103 + RTIC/Embassy, quadrature encoder (4096 counts/rev), SSD1306 OLED.
lvdt LVDT signal conditioner firmware — STM32G474, Rust/RTIC.

Measurement & instrumentation
vibrometer Laser vibrometer / rotor balancing rig: ESP32-C3 firmware (ADS1256 + keyphasor) and an egui desktop receiver, sharing the wire protocol and domain types.
meteo Atmospheric pressure logger on ESP32-C3 / esp-hal — BMP390, Wi-Fi upload, NTP time sync.
smitters Smith chart math and rendering. UI-agnostic core, with an egui integration for interactive charts.

Desktop, UI & tooling
merka 2D parametric sketch editor — Rust + Bevy + egui, with a Gauss–Newton geometric constraint solver.
egui_dockyard A deliberately vibe-coded docking and workspace layout system for egui.
fretboard Interactive fretboard visualizer — scales, tunings (cello / guitar / minor thirds), logarithmic fret spacing, hot reload.
ron-bench Throughput / conformance / scaling harnesses for the ron parser — RON vs serde_json, PEG conformance, an O(N) vs O(N²) oracle.

Mostly Rust — no_std embedded, desktop, and the numerics in between. Issues and PRs welcome on any of the above.
