MCP spans currently emit legacy names and flattened content without the canonical OpenTelemetry attributes. Add JSON-RPC request IDs, GenAI tool/prompt names, tool-only execute_tool, case-sensitive prompt variables, and serialized tool arguments and successful results, following OpenTelemetry MCP at e07f4eb. Keep legacy attributes and the existing input/output capture options for compatibility.
Canonical content is bounded and excludes protocol metadata and continuation state. The 20,000-character capture budget is Sentry policy; structured tool output supports any JSON value. Real SDK v1/v2 coverage checks emitted streamed spans in ESM/CJS with capture enabled and disabled.
Dependencies: stacked on #25059. sentry-conventions #671 is merged. Merge is blocked on publishing a release containing it, then updating the SDK conventions dependency and lockfile to that actual release. The latest published release, 0.26.0, does not export GEN_AI_PROMPT_VARIABLE_KEY_BASE; local validation used a package built from #671. No unpublished version or local package override is committed. Network metadata (#24506) and OAuth attribution (#24508) remain separate changes.
