💡 I think the Check for removed HTML IDs is failing due to whatsnew/3.16.rst on the current head of main being malformatted. We'll need to either temporarily disable that job, or merge past the failure. |

We test that sysconfig.expand_makefile_vars is not present when the version is 3.16 :-/
