What are we up to?
What are we up to?Accreditation & trainings
Accreditation & trainingsDid you know you can make a regular tax-free donation to Rape Crisis England & Wales that's taken from your gross (pre-tax) salary? So you can give more to us at no extra cost to yourself?
Keep reading to find out more.
Fill out this short form with our payroll giving platform, GoodPAYE, and they'll set things in motion!
GoodPAYE is a 100% charity-owned payroll giving provider that's empowering UK employees to donate to charity directly from their salary.
Your employer needs to be part of the GoodPAYE scheme before donations can start being taken from your salary. However, once youve submitted your form, GoodPAYE will reach out to your employer directly to get this sorted.
Payroll giving means giving us a regular donation that is taken out of your salary before it ever goes into your bank account on payday.
Donations are taken out every month or however often you receive your salary and are tax-free. This means that they're taken from your gross (pre-tax) salary, rather than your net (after tax) salary.
Because payroll giving donations are taken out of your pre-tax salary, a portion is made up of money that you otherwise would have paid in tax.
For example, if you are a 20% tax payer and set up a monthly payroll giving donation of 10 to Rape Crisis England & Wales, your take-home or net salary will only drop by 8.
Got more questions? Please email us at fundraising@rapecrisis.org.uk we'd love to hear from you!
If you'd still like to make regular donations to us, you can set up a monthly direct debit instead.
Our new donations page makes this really simple just make sure to move the toggle on the form from 'One-time' to 'Monthly'.
The platform we use for this is Raisely, which passes on 100% of your donations to us.
We are so grateful for your support.
Our member Rape Crisis centres provide free, local support and services for victims and survivors of rape, sexual assault, sexual abuse and all other forms of sexual violence.
