iPhone14PlusService Programme for Rear Camera Issue

Apple has determined that the rear camera on a very small percentage of iPhone14Plus devices may exhibit no preview. Affected devices were manufactured between 10 April 2023 and 28 April 2024.

If your iPhone14Plus has exhibited this issue, please use the serial number checker below to see if your device is eligible for this programme. If so, Apple or an AppleAuthorisedServiceProvider will provide service, free of charge.

Service Process

Choose one of the options below to have your iPhone14Plus serviced. Your iPhone will be examined prior to any service to verify that it is eligible for this programme.

Before service, back up your iPhone to iCloud or your computer. Find out more about preparing your iPhone for service.

Note: If your iPhone14Plus has any damage which impairs the ability to complete the repair, such as a cracked back glass, that issue will need to be resolved prior to the service. In some cases, there may be a cost associated with the additional repair.

Additional Information

Apple may restrict or limit repair to the original country or region of purchase. For iPhone14Plus devices purchased in EEA member countries, service is available in other EEA member countries.

This worldwide Apple programme does not extend the standard warranty coverage of the iPhone14Plus. Your consumer law rightsare unaffected by this programme.

If you believe your iPhone14Plus was affected by this issue, and you paid to have your rear camera repaired, you can contact Apple about a refund.

The programme covers eligible iPhone14Plus for three years after the first retail sale of the unit.
