Where can I find a certified repair thats covered by Apples Limited Warranty or an AppleCare plan?

Apple retail stores and our large network of Apple Authorised Service Providers offer Apple-certified repairs using genuine Apple parts. Only repairs performed directly by Apple or by an Apple Authorised Service Provider are covered by Apples Limited Warranty and AppleCare plans. If you arent sure if a provider is an Apple Authorised Service Provider, heres where to check.

Independent, non-authorised repair providers have access to genuine Apple parts and repair resources, but do not provide Apple-authorised repairs covered by the Apple Limited Warranty or AppleCare. They may offer their own repair warranty, but non-authorised repairs are not backed by Apple unless required by law. Any damage that your device may incur by a non-authorised repair provider is not covered by Apples Limited Warranty or an AppleCare plan.

Can I repair my own device?

Self Service Repair is intended for individuals with the knowledge and experience to repair electronic devices. If you are experienced with the complexities of repairing electronic devices, Self Service Repair provides you with access to genuine Apple parts, tools and repair manuals to perform your own out-of-warranty repair.
