People stumped by brainteasers that 'everyone should get right'

A man has shared five viral brainteasers that 'everyone should be able to solve' - but many people are still struggling to get the correct answers and have started to argue among themselves

It's important to keep your mind sharp throughout the day to increase your critical-thinking skills and improve your brain age.

To help with this, Mahan, who goes by @mahanlankarani on TikTok, has compiled five rapid-fire brainteasers that 'everyone should be able to solve'. In his clip, which garnered more than 776,000 likes, he asked: "How many pairs of animals did Moses take on the ark?" After pausing briefly, he shared the answer as zero since Moses didn't have an ark, Noah did. For the second puzzle, he said: "You're in a race and you pass the person in third place - so what place are you in now?" Before progressing to the following question, he confirmed the right answer was third.

He continued: "John's father had three sons, Snap, Crackle and ...?"

While most people leap to respond with Pop, this is wrong and you simply need to examine the question to work out why.

He confirmed the right answer was John.

For the fourth puzzle, he asked: "If a plane crashes right in between France and Spain, where do you bury the survivors?"

He explained this is another trick question since you don't bury survivors.

Finally, he asked: "If it takes seven people, seven minutes to eat seven burgers, how long will it take 30 people to eat 30 burgers?

In the comments, numerous viewers confessed to being "really confused" about this one, while the man shared the correct answer to be seven minutes.

One user said: "My math isn't mathing in the fifth." Another user added: "I'm still really confused about the last one." A third user said: "Why was I so confident yelling out Pop."

Some other user added: "I've never been so embarrassed." A final user said: "I confidently answered each question and still got 0/5."

Other brainteasers

It comes after people were tasked to solve a cheese-related brainteaser, challenging them to find a single piece of blue cheese concealed among dozens of other varieties - and it's proving far trickier than it initially seems.

On another occasion, only those with perfect vision can find the toad in the garden path. While people with sniper eyes must find the hidden animal within 10 seconds.
