Dani Dyer has opened up about a much-loved tradition that she enjoys with her father, something that her footballer husband Jarrod Bowen can never join in with.

This year, the former Love Island contestant has joined forces with her devoted dad Danny for a fresh Sky Original series The Dyers' Caravan Park. The programme follows the pair as they buy and try to breathe new life into the family-operated Priory Hill Caravan Park in Leysdown-on-Sea, Kent.

However, this isn't the only move the former EastEnders actor is balancing this year, with the second series of Rivals also making its Disney+ comeback. Now, the mother-of-three has revealed details about her doting relationship with her actor dad and how they make moments to connect away from the cameras.

Speaking to the Express following her partnership with Chessington World of Adventure, Dani looked back on how shooting the caravan park programme has helped them rebuild their relationship off-screen. Looking back on their filming experience, she said: "We don't live together so I think when we actually get to spend time together, we really appreciate it.

"Because usually when I'm with him, I've got my three kids, they're running around the house so we can barely have a conversation. So when we're on the way there we get to have a bit of a chat, but then obviously when we get there, we film all day, and then usually on the way home one of us is asleep."

At this point, she admitted a charming routine the duo partake in most weeks despite their busy timetables. Dani confessed: "You really take advantage of your parents when you live with them, and then when you move out you're like, 'Can I come to stay at your house again?'

"I'll leave the kids with Jared and just pop round so I can be looked after. Obviously, Jared doesn't really eat takeaways because of work, so sometime son a Friday night, I'll leave the kids with him and go round and we'll have a Chinese and a beer. I mean, what more could a woman want?"

This follows the influencer's recent campaign with Chessington World of Adventure to inaugurate their new PAW Patrol themed park. On May 3, Dani and her three children, Santiago, Summer and Star, welcomed six families and their assistance dogs for a first glimpse at the immersive 15million land.

Here, the real stars of the show are the real-life hero dogs who have now joined the Paw Patrol pup squad. Speaking about her family day out with the loving families, she enthused: "As a mum, I'm always on the lookout for days out that feel really special for the kids, and meeting these real-life hero does who help families every single day is exactly that.

She went on to say: "The PAW Patrol pups are all about teamwork and helping others, so seeing the assistance dogs come along with their owners, meet their PAW Patrol counterparts, and be 'part of the patrol' has made it such a lovely inspiring day." Visit their website to find out more and book.
