The Hunting Pistol is an incredibly powerful single-shot pistol that can be found in the second half of The Last Of Us 2.

Before we tell you where it is, though, we should issue a spoiler warning .

The Hunting Pistol and the information in this guide relate to late-game aspects of the game that you might not want spoiled for you.

Only continue reading if youve made it past the Seattle Day 3 and The Park chapters of the game.

When you revisit the Seattle Day 1 chapter, immediately after climbing down off of the roof of the boat workshop, youll find a hole in the wall to your right.

Crawl through the hole and the safe will be right in front of you.

The combination can be found in the nearby shack - which you need to break the window of to climb in. Theres a note inside that points to the safe combination relating to a big win.

Find the noticeboard and youll see a lotto ticket pinned to it with the winning numbers 17-38-07 .

This is the safe combination.

Return to the safe and youll find the Hunting Pistol inside.

The Hunting Pistol is not only the highest damage pistol in the game, but you can find a recipe to craft ammo for it later, making it a handy sidearm to pull out in a pinch.

The Last of Us Part 2 Review - Verdict 5/5

The Last of Us, Part II outshines the original in practically every way. The game takes level design, combat, stealth, AI and interactive narrative and uses each element to elevate the other.

Unpredictable, intelligent and self-aware, this game seems to pride itself on digging into your head and staying there allowing its themes and messages to grow and mutate long after the credits roll.

Naughty Dog knows just when to take your tools off you, remove the safety blanket and provoke you. It weaves inconsistent pacing and tension together masterfully to leave you as scared and vulnerable as its protagonists.

This is a game thats going to be talked about for a long time to come, and with good reason. A masterpiece.
