Congratulations were in order during the latest episode of The Repair Shop as BBC viewers saw art on paper conservator Angelina Bakalarou share some exciting news. As she awaited their next guest to come into the barn, resident upholstery expert Sonnaz Nooranvary asked how she was doing.
Angelica quickly raised her hand to show her ring as she beamed with happiness, announcing, 'I'm engaged!' Her BBC co-star was quick to offer her congratulations, saying she was 'so pleased' for her. Giving her hand a closer inspection, Sonnaz added 'Look at that ring!'
BBC viewers were treated to a close-up as it showed a golden band with a red stone in the middle, reports the Mirror.
When the episode first aired, back in the autumn last year, The Repair Shop fans were quick to congratulate Angelica. One person on social media said they hope Angelica and her partner have 'many happy years together'.
Another person praised the 'wonderful' news, as someone complimented how well the BBC star and her partner looked as a couple. While it remains unclear how long the BBC star has been with her partner, Simone, he initially featured on her Instagram in 2015.
The expert often gives glimpses into their travels, as they've been to the likes of Doha and Sardinia.

BBC viewers first saw Angelica make her debut in the barn back in 2023, although she is no stranger to the residents of the show, as she and Will Kirk are friends.
The star, who has been part of the BBC show since the start, shared a snap of them both and their colleagues not long after her first episode, enjoying a day out.
She explained that a member of the production team initially got in touch with her through email before one thing led to another, and she was in the barn after a string of interviews and discussions, calling the whole experience 'surreal'.
When speaking about one of the most challenging items she's fixed, the BBC star replied: "Well, everything, I would say that everything has been challenging, or has had its own challenges, because not one item is the same.
"You can never assume that it is going to be the same thing that happened to you, even one time before. So, one of the most challenging, I would say, was the helmet because it was a 3D object.
"I had never done a 3D object before in my life. So that was like a massive thing where I had to think outside the box and think of different approaches to how to fix something that fits on someone's head. So that was quite challenging."
The Repair Shop is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
