At the Georgetown Law Institute for Technology Law & Policy (ITLP), we are at the forefront of one of the most urgent and exciting challenges of our time: ensuring that law and policy keeps pace with rapid technological change.
From AI and automation to data privacy and digital rights, our programming explores how emerging technologies are reshaping our societyand what that means for justice, governance, and the rule of law.
We train tomorrows leaders through innovative academic programs, including the Tech Law Scholars program for J.D. students, and two cutting-edge graduate degrees: the Technology Law and Policy LL.M. and Georgetowns Master of Law and Technology. These programs go beyond the classroomcombining rigorous legal education with real-world problem-solving and in-depth seminars led by top experts in the field.
