Georgetown Law Technology Review

Each issue of GLTR covers pertinent areas of technology law and policy in an in-depth but accessible way through articles from academics, student notes, literature reviews, explanations of complex technologies, and discussions of legal developments.

The publication draws from the major themes of privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property, and telecommunications, but also looks to cover new developments where technology meets the legal profession.

GLTR publishes two major issues per year with other content regularly published in between. In keeping with the technological ethos, all content will be published exclusively online with open access.

Volume 10 continues Georgetown Law Technology Review's commitment to publishing thoughtful, forward-looking scholarship on the laws, systems, and incentives that shape modern technology and affect peoples daily experiences.

We are especially excited to highlight the extensive student scholarship featured in this volume, which includes work on platform governance, digital accessibility, machine learning, and algorithmic systems. Alongside contributions from scholars across the field, these pieces are supported by an engaged editorial team dedicated to advancing meaningful dialogue about our digital future.

GLTR's biennial Symposium, held on January 30, 2026, deepens this spirit of inquiry and brings students, scholars, and practitioners into conversation about the pressing issues in technology and society today. We hope Volume 10 sparks reflection, debate, and engagement as you explore the insights our contributors offer.
