The Royal family are the close relatives of King Charles, and form the line of succession to the British throne. Members of the Royal Family have belonged, by birth or marriage, to the House of Windsor since 1917, under the reign of George V.

Prince William is the elder son of King Charles III and Diana, Princess of Wales, and is now first in line to the throne. His son Prince George of Wales, as he is formally known, is second in line to the throne.
