Testing conducted by Apple in August and September 2025 using preproduction AppleVisionPro(M5) units and software. Testing consisted of full battery discharge while performing each of the following tasks: video playback, internet browsing, spatial video capture and FaceTime. Video playback tested in conjunction with an Environment, using 2Dmovie content purchased from the AppleTVapp. Internet browsing tested using 20popular websites. FaceTime tested between two AppleVisionPro units with Personas enabled. Tested with WiFi associated to a network. Battery life depends on device settings, usage, network, environmental conditions and many other factors. Battery tests are conducted using specific AppleVisionPro units; actual results may vary.

3D movies for AppleVisionPro are available only on the AppleTVapp on your AppleVisionPro device.
Sharing AppleVisionPro experiences with people nearby requires the same WiFi network and Bluetooth turned on. To watch movies or TV together, each AppleVisionPro user must have a subscription to the same movie or TV content. To play games together, each AppleVisionPro user must have the same SharePlay-enabled game installed.

Testing conducted by Apple in September 2025 using preproduction AppleVisionPro(M5) and production AppleVisionPro(M2) units. Up to 2x faster performance results were achieved when tested with pre-release Draw Things v1.20250820.0 on AppleVisionPro(M5), v1.20250903.0 on AppleVisionPro(M2) and a 768x768 text-to-image generation with step-distilled Qwen Image model at 6-bit quantisation in 2 steps. When tested with Photos app by creating SpatialScenes from photos performance results were up to 1.5xfaster. Performance tests are conducted using specific AppleVisionPro units and reflect the approximate performance of AppleVisionPro.
