Which Apple Pencil will work with this iPad?
Both Apple Pencil (USB-C) and Apple Pencil (1st generation) are compatible with this iPad.
Apple Pencil (USB-C) pairs via USB-C Charge Cable and attaches magnetically for storage.
To use Apple Pencil (1st generation) with this iPad, a USB-C to Apple Pencil Adapter is required for pairing and charging. It is included with your purchase of Apple Pencil (1st generation). If you already own an Apple Pencil (1st generation), youll need to purchase the USB-C to Apple Pencil Adapter. This adapter is sold separately at Apple Store locations, on apple.com and on the Apple Store app.

What type of SIM does this iPad have?
iPad includes eSIM technology that enables fast, convenient and secure activation of mobile data plans. There are a few ways to activate eSIM on your iPad, including transferring from another iPad, joining an existing iPhone data plan, adding a new plan in Settings, scanning a QR code or using an app from a network provider. How does Apple Trade In work?
The Apple Trade In programme makes it easy to trade in an eligible iPad. Just answer a few questions regarding the model and condition, and we will provide an estimated trade-in value Footnote or a simple way to recycle it for free if its not eligible for credit.
If your iPad is eligible and you accept the quote, we will send you a free trade-in kit, separate to your new iPad (at no cost to you), so you can then send in your current iPad within the 14-day return window.
Once we receive your iPad, well inspect it and verify its condition. If the condition matches what you described, theres nothing more you need to do. If the condition doesnt match, a new trade-in value will be provided. Youll have the option to either accept this revised value or reject it. Well work with you to confirm that you still want to move forwards with the tradein.
The trade-in process can take up to 23 weeks.
You can also trade your device in at an Apple Store at the point of purchase; however, the trade-in value instore may be different to the estimated trade-in value you received online.

How does Apple Trade In work?
Apple Trade In makes it easy to get credit towards the purchase of your next device. Simply answer a few questions about the model and condition of your current device, and we will provide an estimated tradein value. Footnote If its not eligible for credit, you can recycle it for free.
If your device is eligible and you accept the tradein estimate, we will send you a free tradein kit with instructions and a prepaid shipping label. Once you receive the kit, you have 14 days to send in your device.
When we receive your device, well inspect it and verify its condition. If everything checks out, your tradein will be complete. If the condition doesnt match what you described, youll receive an email with a new tradein value. Youll have the option to accept or reject this revised value.
If you are trading in a device financed by Creation, well apply the value as an instant credit to lower your new monthly payments. If youre trading in a Barclays financed device, well send you the value via Apple Gift Card by email. When you pay the full amount today, well credit your payment method after we receive and verify your tradein. And if your device is currently financed with Creation or Barclays, you can apply the tradein value towards closing your existing loan balance. This happens once we receive your eligible device and confirm that the condition matches what you described.
The tradein process can take up to 23 weeks.

What products can be covered by AppleCare One?
AppleCare One coverage extends to products that were purchased recently or are currently covered by AppleCare+. Other eligible devices are those currently associated with your Apple Account, Apple audio or headphones less than one year old, and other Apple devices that are less than four years old and in good condition.
