Invisible Woman has been added to Marvel Rivals, giving us another Strategist character.
Now, after weeks of no one wanting to play Strategist, everyone is interlocking her.
This has long-suffering Strategist mains very frustrated, as they try to intstalock her instead.

For the first month after Marvel Rivals' launch, it seemed that no one knew that the Strategist section of the character select screen existed. No, instead, everyone was perfectly happy to run a team of five Duelists and one Vanguard, if you were lucky. And I hope you have the patience of a saint if you're the lone Strategist, because you will get flamed in chat by an Iron Fist who keeps trying to 1v6 the enemy team.

However, if you've played Marvel Rivals over the weekend, you'll notice that this has completely changed. Now that the new season has kicked off, adding Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic to the roster, everyone wants to play Strategist. Well, they want to play a Strategist - Invisible Woman.

Oh, so now you know how to play support?

Taking a look at how Strategist mains are responding to this demand for Invisible Woman, it's clear that they're quite frustrated. It's understandable - they've probably spent match after match solo-healing a team of Duelists who run off in different directions. Now, we get a new character to mess around with, and suddenly everyone is a Strategist main.

Mister Fantastic was also added in the new update as a Duelist, adding to an already diverse character class. It'll be interesting to see how his pick rate stacks up against Invisible Woman's, although anecdotally, it seems that she's far more popular.

As for the rest of the roster, the most picked character is Jeff the Land Shark. However, he is also one of the worst-performing heroes, only having a better win rate than Black Widow - who is one of the least-picked characters.
