On its own, reaching Grandmaster in Marvel Rivals is cool, but somewhat uninteresting. But what about reaching Grandmaster without every dealing a single point of damage?

Yes, you read that right.

One Marvel Rivals player appropriately named "NoDmgRocket" managed to hit Grandmaster III with a grand total of 0 damage dealt and 0 eliminations. Over 108 matches and nearly 19 hours of gametime, they managed to do what some would call impossible.

Here's How They Did It

In a post sharing their accomplishments on Reddit, "NoDmgRocket" outlined just how they were able to make it to Grandmaster without having any eliminations or damage dealt to their name.

Their method? Oh, just under 3 million in healing. That, plus 3,666 assists and over 315,000 damage blocked and 71 wins in 108 matches was how they were able to get it done.

Of course, it's important to note that it's not like they never once fired a weapon. The player attests that they shot down Moon Knight's Ankhs, Loki clones and Rocket beacons whenever possible. For whatever reason, those don't count as damage, but they do contribute to accuracy numbers.

"If that's the case, it's a surprise you never accidentally shot anyone walking nearby or accidentally shot at a real Loki pretending to be a clone," one user wrote in response, as others noted how nervewracking it must've been.

That said, as one user pointed out, doing a similar run with anyone but Rocket would be nearly impossible. His movement, plus his abilities, makes him a perfect candidate for a "No Damage" playstyle that would otherwise be impossible with other support characters that play differently despite a similar role. Still, it's quite the feat, and it'll be interesting to see if they try and climb even higher with this style.
