Temporary nested cycle-tracking entries could remain in the memory set after a successful comparison. If a later sibling comparison reused one of those objects, deepStrictEqual could incorrectly fail for equivalent structures. This cleans up the temporary nested entries after the nested comparison returns. Fixes: #62422 PR-URL: #62509 Fixes: #62422 Reviewed-By: Jordan Harband <ljharb@gmail.com>

thanks, i'll add that. |
Sorry, something went wrong.
|
actually, since the flag is required to see the module, that doesn't seem like it should cause a failure - can you link me to the CITGM failure? |

I really would prefer to not be mentioned. |
Sorry, something went wrong.

@aduh95 found the issue - Module.builtinModules should NOT include node:ffi when the flag is not enabled. Everything in that list is supposed to be accessible. imo that needs to be fixed before this release. |
Sorry, something went wrong.
Module.builtinModules is supposed to only list modules that are accessible to user code. node:ffi requires --experimental-ffi to be required, so filter it out when the flag is not set, mirroring the existing handling for --experimental-quic. Experimental node:ffi module
Node.js now includes an experimental node:ffi module for loading dynamic
libraries and calling native symbols from JavaScript.
The API is gated behind the --experimental-ffi flag and, when the Permission
Model is enabled, requires --allow-ffi.
This API is inherently unsafe. Invalid pointers, incorrect signatures, or accessing memory
after it has been freed can crash the process or corrupt memory.
Contributed by Paolo Insogna and Colin Ihrig in #62072.
